*** We have a new series of introductory lectures planned for June at the Little Shop of Calm in Cowbridge. We will be exploring the key elements of the psychology of transformation and the foundation for mystical experience. Each class will contain Gnostic psychology and meditation, theory and practice. providing an introduction to the Tibetan Rites for Rejuvenation. ***

As we will be doing these exercises each week, you are advised to bring along a mat to lie on, and wear loose clothing (at least, nothing too formal) - the room we will be using is a lovely space, but it has a hard floor. We will have a few mats with us, but just in case..***

• The Tibetan Rites and the Chakras [14th June 7.40-9.40pm].
• The Tibetan Rites and Pranayama [21st June 7.40-9.40pm].
• The Tibetan Rites and Self Realisation [28th June 7.40-9.40pm].

We have recently finished a series of public lectures on the Psychology of Transformation.

• Mind and Consciousness [27th February 7-9pm]. Consciousness or Essence must be Liberated from the Mechanical Mind. This is the foundation for the psychology of transformation.
• Four States of Consciousness [6th March 7-9pm]. We are not aware of ourselves.Learn techniques to awaken the Consciousness.
• Tranformation of Impressions [13th March 7-9pm]. Life enters our Mind as Impressions through the Senses. To change our Life we must transform our Impressions.
• New Way of Thinking [20th March 7-9pm]. Do not put the new wine of Gnosis into an old flask. Change begins with a new way of thinking.

We also have a study group just starting, which meets Wednesday evenings, 7.00pm - 9.00pm, at the institute. If you are interested in joining then contact us as soon as possible.

Medicine: The Causes of Illness; Nature Elementals; Rites of Rejuvenation; Masters of Medicine.

We also ran two series of lectures in May and June 2009, covering the linked subjects of Tarot and Kabbalah. Any of the subjects you see we study we can develop into public lecture series, and we are happy to repeat series if there is interest and enough numbers.

Early in 2009 we ran a series of public lectures in central Cardiff. This series was entitled 'As Above, So Below'. This series explored the relationships between the inner and outer universes, through the following topics:

• The Psychological Universe
• Inner Faculties
• The Laws that govern us
• Psychology and Mysticism

We also ran a series of public lectures in the Van Community Centre, Caerphilly. This series was entitled 'Mind and Meditation'. They gave attendees a good introduction into what the science of meditation is actually about, and the relevance to our daily life and problems. The series looked at:

• Psychological states that we pass through everyday
• Different techniques to concentrate the mind
• How to start to study our own mind
• How to solve the complex problems of our lives
