Over the last two centuries the world of thought and spirituality has rediscovered Gnosis as a tradition of knowledge immersed in the origins of our civilisation.The works of Helena Blavatsky, the investigations of Carl Jung, the discovery of the Nag Hammadi Library and the recent publication of the Gnostic Gospel of Judas, just to mention a few examples, testify to the increasing interest in Gnosis and in the Gnostic studies in our society.Samael Aun Weor, a contemporary Gnostic Master, presents his vision, to understand the Gnostic tradition of the past, to enlighten us about our present situation and to present a new horizon for the future.
Philosophy
The Gnostic Institute of Anthropology presents the Gnostic philosophy as it was once practised by the primitive Gnostics in the catacombs of Rome.It was unveiled by Samael Aun Weor who not only taught this knowledge but also lived it, practised it and experienced it.So it is not just a philosophy compiled by a philosopher after years of research, rather it is a way of life. Only through direct knowledge can we experience such a philosophy.Gnosis, then, is a system which teaches the techniques and exercises which leads us along the path of self-realization, to that perfect harmonious development of ourselves as true men and women.Let us rebel against our own defects which keep us bound in chains of misery! Enough of books, theories, dogmas! The time has come for us to see, touch, hear, smell and taste the great realities of the suprasensible worlds!
